On-road TractionĪ tire with a loftier footprint performs better on road in dry conditions. ![]() This makes it more capable and withstanding on the road. On the other hand, the A/TX has somewhat reduced grooves and superior shoulders which results in just a little bit bigger footprint. This makes the AT2 more dedicated to soft surfaces. The shoulders of AT2 have shorter tread blocks with more incisions on them and larger grooves. ![]() Both the A/TX and the AT2 have a very similar tread design and consist of a five-row tread pattern with the major difference in their shoulders.
